So, are you mad? Are you really sure you are not mad? Even a little bit? Then this article is not for you. This one is dedicated to the people who are creative, stupid and mad.
I'm gonna make this topic very short and sweet to give you a simple clarification.
I'm gonna make this topic very short and sweet to give you a simple clarification.
Getting into to the topic, seriously, what is this madness I’m talking about? The vocalist from the famous rock band Shinedown, Brent Smith defines what madness is. He says “Madness isn’t a negative feeling or a bad emotion. It lets you know that you are alive. It pushes you as an individual. It makes who you are.”
As the above quote clarifies, madness is not a bad thing. Madness is about being different. Going against the so called social norms. Being yourself. We'll see how madness can be an aid for our life's success.
When we were born, we had no idea about the world. We didn’t have any empirical nor theoretical knowledge. Analogically, we were a clean, white blanket. Thereafter, when we grow old, probably up to the age of 6, our minds observe and absorb everything that we interacts with. We’d try to do new things. Especially like touching fire. In other words, as society would say, stupid actions, or madness. But then we encounter with primary, secondary and higher education which locks us in to a certain frame.
As I’ve mentioned in my previous article “What the **** is Education? - Part 1”, humans have lost the possibility of unleashing their true potential by this frame that we’ve forced to get caught by society. But as matured beings, if we could unleash our potential of our mind, just like our childhood days, it’s golden. These days, people have a special name created by the society. MADMEN. Yes! Madmen.
Madmen or the stupid people are the ones who push the human race forward. They drives them, inspires them. Madness, stupidity and creativity are the qualities that encourages these madmen. But for the fact that they lead us, there is no special place for madmen or the so called madness in this society we live. These people are mostly rejected by the society. They’ve been cornered. Even though this catastrophe occurs in front of their face, they manage to evolve and go through these social barriers and eventually succeed their goal.

For an example, let us take Albert Einstein. One of the brilliant scientists ever known, he had a very amazing thinking power as well as a very stupid, mad characteristics. One of his famous quotes he says “The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.” I guess this is enough to prove my point here.
When we see the world differently we change our intentions and our actions accordingly. But for the people who doesn’t see it that way, assumes that those people who do think, are mad or stupid. But bottom line being mad or stupid is not a bad thing.
